Check every insect

The numbered guide follows reading order: left to right across each row, then down to the next row. Each box contains one insect illustration, so the row totals are 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 10.
- Row 1: ladybug, bee.
- Row 2: butterfly, dragonfly.
- Row 3: beetle, moth.
- Row 4: ant, grasshopper.
- Row 5: praying mantis, fly.
Artwork check: the source lists ten unique insect names and draws exactly one in each cell. The answer key uses the same drawing code with numbers 1–10 added. Decorative lines inside an insect are parts of that one illustration.
Quick answers
Which file should I print?
Choose the PDF matching your paper, A4 or US Letter, and print at actual size. If your printer crops the edges, select “Fit to printable area”; the artwork will become slightly smaller.
Can I use a PNG instead?
Yes. Download the A4 PNG or Letter PNG. Both have 300 DPI metadata.
Does each bug count once?
Yes. Count the ten outlined boxes, one insect in each. The numbered guide shows a path from 1 through 10.
