Color by number without a color printer
Print this original flower in black and white. Each region has a number, and the key spells out the matching color.
One page · four numbers · no sign-up.

Read the printed key

The word key stays legible on a monochrome printout. Numbers are inside the flower shapes, and the example at left follows the same four assignments.
- 1 — Pink: five petals.
- 2 — Yellow: one round center.
- 3 — Green: stem and two leaves.
- 4 — Blue: one pot.
Artwork check: the worksheet and example are generated from the same four region definitions. The key names the colors in words; the colored example is optional.
Quick answers
Do I need to print the colored example?
No. The black-and-white worksheet already contains every number and the complete word key.
Which file should I use?
Download the PDF for your paper size, A4 or US Letter, and print at actual size. If edges are clipped, choose “Fit to printable area”; the drawing will be slightly smaller.
Can I choose different colors?
Yes. Keep the number assignments consistent and write your own four color names over the printed key.
Can I download an image?
Yes: A4 PNG or Letter PNG, each with 300 DPI metadata.
